Pringle Creek Community has become a winter wonderland this week. Residents are enjoying the snow, and finding some good places to sled and make snow angels! The cedar and sequoia branches are adorned with snowflakes, while other trees are glistening with ice. The greenhouses are holding up to winter temperatures with gardens growing inside. Because homes are energy efficient, they’re keeping warm and cozy at a lower cost than traditional homes.

We hope that you are enjoying the wintery weather too by playing in the snow, taking double dog dares, and sipping on some hot cocoa while strategizing what the next Hogworts-inspired ice fort could look like. When exploring beyond Pringle Creek Community, there are some other sweet snow recreation spots around including the Willamette National Forest, Mount Hood Ski-Bowl, and Mount Bachelor’s Tubing Park.¬†Staying warm and relaxing by the fire is more your style? Well, Salem has some great little places.

Visit the Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast, stop on by Gilgamesh for a brew, or a sweet coffee shop like the Governor’s Cup in downtown. Speaking of sweets, there are also confectionary delights at Oregon Crepe¬†Cafe and Bakery or a chance to see a music show at the Victory Club. Salem is full of jovial activities to warm your heart when it’s cold outside.
