Everyday is Earth Day at Pringle Creek Community,

Earth Day celebrations first took place in 1970, by two thousand colleges and universities, roughly ten thousand primary and secondary schools, and hundreds of communities across the United States. It is now observed in 192 countries, and coordinated by the nonprofit Earth Day Network, with the hope to make Earth Day into a day of action to change human behaviour and provoke policy changes.

We at Pringle Creek take action everyday to live in harmony with our natural environment, by providing award winning green homes, monitoring and tracking our energy usage, using our own local produce to help feed the community, composting our organic waste and implementing a community wide recycling program. We also partner with the non-profit ‘Sustainable Living Center‘ which provides a unique living laboratory that educates and encourages sustainable practises in daily life.

If you are interested please stop by to visit us for an educational tour of our development, or simply to enjoy a beautiful piece of nature nestled in an urban setting.
