The Sustainable Living Center (SLC) is gearing up for the Foraging Fair that’s happening on September 30th, from 1 – 4:00pm, at Painters Hall. Brilliant organizations like the Arctos School and Straub Environmental Center will be joining along with other organizations that also champion sustainability, so stay tuned. The SLC is a non-profit that operates out of Pringle Creek Community with the mission to educate, activate, and demonstrate. More on this wonderful event below:

“Join us at Pringle Creek Community for an afternoon of food, family, fun and…foraging! Discover edible plants available locally with an expert foraging guide, taste what you can find foraging in the Willamette Valley, and connect with organizations interested in sustainable practices. We’ll have information on food preservation, art activities for the kids, and more. Come and enjoy all the fun!” – SLC

If you want to be kept in the loop with the event and show your support, then please go to the SLC’s Facebook Foraging Fair event page!
